Another tree, this time a maple tree in autumn. I use pen and charcoal for the majority of the drawing, and Prismacolor color pencil and pen for the focal point, which in this case is the leaves. It saves a lot of time to limit color to the focal point, along with drawing attention to the focal point. I recently drew the same tree, except in summer. It’s hanging in on my cubicle wall at work, I need to bring it home so I can upload it.
